A long, long time ago, our ancestors discovered that combining words in odd and unexpected ways could create astonishing magical effects. Thus was born the prestigious profession of the Word Wizards: professional problem-fixers, these wizards swear oaths to help others and specialize in solving the most complicated problems in the weirdest and most creative ways possible.

But of course, in a profession this unusual, someone was bound to push the limits: legend says that 432 years ago, a wizard named Rintirunbras cast a spell so ridiculous that he accidentally created a recurring magical curse. Now, every 123 years, this curse returns in the form of a Mystic Mess — and it’s up to the Word Wizards to deal with it before the world descends into chaos!

Word Wizards is a rules-light, language-bending tabletop RPG where every spell is also a clever turn of phrase. Characters harness the power of puns, rhymes, and tongue-twisters to solve problems, sabotage enemies, or make everything even more confusing. With simple d6 mechanics, exploding dice, and tables full of ridiculous obstacles, the fun is in making the wildest magic out of the strangest combination of words.
